This is gonna fly by!!

8 more weeks to go!  It's basically all I can think about and the nesting bug is in full swing, FINALLY!!  Here are a few things I've been pondering and purchasing for Driscoe & Donovan's rooms plus some other items I'm loving right now!
Toddler Nursery Room Inspiration + More!

Swedish Dream body cleanser

Swedish Sea Salt >>>My beautiful and sweet mother in law gave me a bar of the Swedish Sea Salt Soap and the smell is just heavenly, not to mention it leaves your skin feeling super soft!

Jenny Lind Bed (Black)

Jenny Lind Bed >>>>>Sarah showed me this bed and I was sold! We decided to throw out the bunk-bed idea. A wise friend asked me if Driscoe liked to climb and/or jump off things. When I answered yes, that he loves doing both, she said, "Well in the end it will probably be a broken bone and a trip to the ER." That is all I needed to hear. Were we seriously thinking of locking him in a room at night with a ladder? A BOY?? Preg-head.

Bohemian Dreamcatcher Natural Boho Home Decor- Magical Large gypsy...

Dream- Catcher >>>>I bought this for one of their rooms! Aunt Sarah bought Donovan the cutest dream-catcher when she was in Big Sur so this will probably be Driscoe's.

Lion Mount>>>>>Driscoe is the owner of this super cute Lion Mount.  We painted a chalkboard wall in his room so I plan on putting Leo the Lion there!  Shoot, now that I think about it, Donovan is going to be a Leo, maybe I should put this in his room instead? Decisions, decisions (This is what you call First World Problems and I'm thankful to have them).

Ring

Mood Ring>>>> I LOVE this store and this ring! Daron bought it for me for Mother's day and for the most part it's always blue, so even when I think it should be black, I look down and see blue and remind myself I should be happy!

Surfer van, VW Kombi photo, surf, beach, summer, orange, yellow,...
etsy.com

Surfer Van Print >>>>> So in case you haven't picked up, we are naming this sweet baby boy Donovan, for short we'll call him Van.  Naturally I love vans.  Growing up we always had one and though my teenage self dreaded driving it, my adult self can appreciate the fact that my dad just loved vans, and hey - they aren't half bad. (When my parents met my dad owned a van and a motorcycle! The pic below is our gray van we piled in every year to go to Utah.  When the gray van replaced the orange van, Joe cried. When the white van replaced the gray van, I cried. And when Sarah hit a gas station pole and ripped off the running boards on the white van, Dad cried. A lot of emotion around the vans in our household. So needless to say, 'Van' has a soft spot in all our hearts.
This pic will be framed in his room.

Baywatchin with the babies.

Dax, Mo and I went to Izzy's beach house last week with her 2 kids Marshall and Seve, our friend Carla and her son, Paz.  We were out numbered.  It's the most exhausting, stressful kind of fun I have ever experienced.

Dax decided he does not like the beach, the sand, or being wet and dirty; so we got creative.  Izzy channeled her fast car obsession into a 9 seater golf cart that we toted around 5+ kids (Keather and Karter were there for a night too).  We went off roading on the bay side of Indian Beach and tried to launch a kid off the cart into the sand doing donuts.  Joking.  We played in the bay for hours, it was like a chill swimming pool with crabs and mosquitoes.

We rode to a fishing dock we went to last time and the Freeport girl in me decided we should crab.  I tied some string onto raw chicken legs and we had 5 toddlers on a broken pier above crab infested waters crabbing!!  No one fell in and no one got salmonella.

It was wild and crazy, the days spent chasing and entertaining babies, calming tantrums, wiping asses....but the wild days make for early bedtimes for the littles.  And the nights spent guzzling wine, laughing about the day and late night off roading in the golf cart under the holy shit most amazing full moon I've ever seen.  I can't wait to do it again.

bohoBodies // Summertime Sunny-ness

It's bikini season. Time to be almost-naked in front of your friends, family, new crush, old crush, new crush's ex-girlfriend, old crush's new girlfriend, hot neighbor, hot neighbor's friend, hot neighbor's friend's brother, your brother's hot friend, and most importantly, YOURSELF.  This summer I have started doing morning yoga with Sarah. It's been great for my body and psyche. I'm stronger and also more patient. In other words, I'm getting yoked and I'm not a jerk. Eat your heart out, 'roiders!

If you're new to yoga, start with a simple Sun Salutation. This sequence is perfect for beginners and will teach you important yoga fundamentals to use for a lifetime. Yes, a lifetime.

Stretch out your body. Breathe in deeply. Fill your lungs with air, then exhale! Push all of your thoughts away and meditate on all of the wonderful people and opportunities in your life. Inner peace is just around the corner.

Thanks Sarah, for keeping me in tune with all this hippie $hit. It's working.
