There are a long list of reasons why this blog we love has been on the back burner, but it all boils down to our beloved grandmother passed and our world has been at a stand still. It's hard to write about your babies or fashion or events when your entire family is sad. And although the last month has been a celebration of our Grandma's 93 beautiful years, with 2 weeks of her in hospice care and all of us by her side, the anticipation of missing her and then the actual missing has been a lot to bear.
We have all hunkered down together and I have never been so proud to be a part of this family and the legacy that my Grandmother created. There's been a lot of praying, a lot of tears (most of them happy), tons of eating, laughter and so so so much Love.

ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful tribute to give to a woman who started a lovely family, such as yours. Your grandmother must be so proud. The photos all look amazing, and your grandmother looks lovely. I just love how open your family is, and one can only wish they had the same bond. Thanks for sharing that, Sarah! All the best!
