currently L O V I N G //

This outfit. I wish I was wearing it right now, but I can't because it's 50 degrees outside, I'm at work, and high waisted shorts don't work for pregnant chicks. Maybe next summer.

This slideshow from Buzzfeed.com:

I cried at #: 2, 5, 6, 10, 13, 14, 17, 24, 25, 28…I basically cried at the whole thing; so what I'm pregnant, I cry at commercials.

These pull on flares from Free People that will get me through this pregnancy one stretchy waist band at a time!

This cute lil Husky and his owner that clearly won't take 'no' for an answer.

Hey Sarah!? Gimme all your jewelry!
All of this from Pinterest.
*I want every ring from the last pic.

This little girl and her mom making paper dresses. View the article here. It's incredible! It really makes me wish for a little girl, even though I know our wild boys would ruin any dress making in our house. I just envision a nice quiet house with a little girl using scissors so responsibly. Then I envision our house: Driscoe messing up all the papers, the girl crying, and then the scissors being thrown across the room. Nonetheless, this story is so cute, and that lil girl is so talented!

Penelope Cruz.
I'm cutting my hair Friday and I've been doing some serious hair stalking, mostly of Penelope, because look.at.her.hair.ugh.

This picture of the grandsons with their Grandpa. Does it get any better?

The Moonlight Dolls Under Fire

The only photo I could find of a Moonlight Doll under fire was Kitty Kitty Bang Bang. And she makes it look really easy.
Of course.

I. CANNOT. WAIT. UNTIL. WE. ARE. OPEN.

I know that when things start to get tough, God has something SUPER special in store. We are holding on and plugging away each day for what HAS to be-what MUST be-a spectacular reward!!

To all of you out there struggling with something, just hang in there and don't kill anyone. Do right and be happy even when you want to throw a tantrum. Force yourself to stay calm and stay on track. Good things will surely come to you when you show God that you believe in Him and the journey he has set you on. Just try not to lose your mind in the meantime. If you feel crazy, then you're doing it right.

The Eagles, My Dad, Winslow Arizona and The Dude.

I'm going to the Eagles concert tonight.  I'm sitting front row.  I get to meet the band before the show.  And I'm kinda FREAAAAAAKING out!!!  It's one of those "holy shit" experiences I haven't given a lot of thought to because it's like Christmas morning, the more you wait for it, the longer it takes to get here.  My parents always jammed the Eagles and we grew up loving them, they are in every single one of my playlists. It's nostalgia, its chill, its perfect background music, driving music, sunny day, rainy day, you name it, there's an Eagles song that can evoke a good "take it easy" kinda feel.

My Dad is the best guitar player and singer in the history of the world, tell me he's not and I'll tell you to get some hearing aids.  Growing up I thought that he wrote all of the songs he played.  The majority of those songs were The Eagles, Jimmy Buffet, David Allen Coe, Neil Young, Creedence - you get the drift.  My brother, sisters and I could sing every word and we still can.  Even better now because we sing them after a few beers and are certain we are the best singers in the history of the world.  My poor Dad.  But the highlight of my love for the Eagles happened at my sister Julie's wedding.  She got married in Costa Rica to Daron, who had been my best buddy for years.  It truly was and still is one of the best weeks of my life, all of our family and friends together in paradise.  At the reception my Dad surprised them with a rendition of Peaceful Easy Feeling.  He mixed up the words to include Los Suenos, the place we were staying, and there was not a dry eye in the room.  We were in a foreign country, my sister was getting married - the first of any of us, but it felt like we were back at home singing with my Dad.  So there ya go, that's my favorite Eagles memory.  And I have a lot, we LITERALLY left my cousin Megan in Winslow Arizona on a family road trip to Utah.  5 mins down the road we realized we were short one kid.  Turned around and she was standing on a corner.  I am not joking.

I still cannot believe I get to meet the band, I thought about singing them my Dad's rendition but Jason has kindly asked me to refrain. It's going to be a blast, yet no way will it be able to top Peaceful Easy Feeling at my sister's wedding, no way jose.

                                                                    "Peaceful Easy Feeling"
I like the way your sparkling earrings lay,
Against your skin, it's so brown.
And I wanna sleep with you in the Los Suenos tonight
With a billion stars all around.

'Cause I got a peaceful easy feeling,
And I know you won't let me down
'cause I'm already standing on the ground.

And I found out a long time ago
What a woman can do to your soul.
Oh, but she can't take you anyway,
You don't already know how to go.

And I got a peaceful easy feeling,
And I know you won't let me down
'cause I'm already standing on the ground.

I get this feeling I may know you as a lover and a friend.
But this voice keeps whispering in my other ear,
Tells me I may never see you again.

'cause I get a peaceful easy feeling
And I know you won't let me down
'cause I'm already standing...
I'm already standing...
Yes, I'm already standing on the ground

Another Eagles favorite >------>

Checkin' in with the bohoBabies…...

Camilla: The world has become her pacifier, she sings throughout her day, and she will give you the stink-eye if you eat in front of her.

Driscoe: This tatt'd up tot has been building train tracks, hitting 'lasers' off his baseball tee, and getting in trouble with his cousin Dax.
Gjelina: Started school, and as you can see, LOVES to snack!
Caymus: This little Renegade just started Little League!  His demeanor is as sweet as that smile.
bohoBaby #6: He or She is snug-as-a-bug-in-a-rug in mommy's tummy.
Watermelon and shorts in February!  Winning!
Dax: He's been singing Happy Birthday and ABC's non stop.  He tells anyone who will listen "i throw bullets" about his strong left arm, keeps a close eye on his little brother and wakes me up every morning by coming in my room saying "hi mommy, i love you mommy".
Morris:  This little angel is always happy and always hungry, he's getting much more open to the idea of walking, but still crawls everywhere (unless he can push a truck).

~counting our blessings and thanking our lucky stars for these happy & healthy bohoBabies~

3 Organic Cage free Egg whites
1/2 c of Organic Quick Oats
2 tsp of Dry Mustard
2 tsp of Ground Pepper
1 tsp of Red Pepper Flakes
1 tsp of Salt
1/2 Bunch of Fresh Organic Basil, finely chopped
3-7 Sprigs of Fresh Organic Thyme (remove from stem)
3 Sprigs of Fresh Oregano, finely chopped
3 tbs of Double Concentrate Tomato Paste
1/2 of a Medium Organic Yellow Onion, finely chopped

2 tablespoons of Organic Olive Oil
1 jar Organic Gluten Free Marinara Sauce, I like Organicville.
2 tbs of torn Organic Fresh Basil

Fresh Parmesan to garnish

{KEEP YOUR HANDS WET WHILE SHAPING THE MEATBALLS TO PREVENT STICKING.}

Preheat Oven to 375 degrees.  Mix all ingredients excepts olive oil, marinara sauce & 2 tablespoons of torn basil in a Large Bowl and form 1 inch size balls.  Heat Olive oil in a large skillet over medium to high heat and sauté meatballs in batches (don't overcrowd)  until lightly browned about 5 minutes (be sure to flip meatballs so all sides get golden).  Then place in a shallow casserole dish with Marinara Sauce in Oven until bubbly and cooked throughout. (be sure to not overcook) Before serving, scatter 2 tablespoons of torn basil on top of meatballs and sauce.  Serve with Quinoa Linguine Pasta or Spaghetti Squash.
Garnish with fresh Parmesan.

bohoBoogie Nights

I was looking for a way to get down this morning when I got a lil' help from my Facebook friends (Post by Grace Salinas).

I started to feel...

At first I was afraid, I was petrified. Kept thinkin' I could never live without you by my side... But now, 'fellas I'm ready to get up and do my thang. I wanna get into it man, you know. Do you remember the 21st night of September? Love was changing the minds of pretenders while chasing the clouds away. All the bad girls, talkin' bout the sad girls. Sad girls. Yeah talkin' about the bad girls. Tuesday night and the studio is hot. Sun's gone down, we're comin' out to trot. Spirits high, legs look hot. Do you wanna get down?

bohoBodies is taking it back to the 1970's. They had The Loft, I got the keys to the studio. Theirs was members-only, I don't discriminate. But we got one thing in common, a funky bass line. Tonight's the night we're gonna make it happen, tonight we'll put all other things aside. We shouldn't even think about tomorrow, these memories will last a long long time.

Bring it down to funky town and let's get down like James Brown. God bless Mother Nature! She's a single woman too!

Isn't love lovely? 2 Questions with Shelby

In honor of valentines day and some of our favorite couples, we asked a few of them to finish the following sentences:  "I was drawn to his _____."   "He gives me _______."

These are Shelby's answers.  Isn't' love lovely?

jason + shelby

I was drawn to his DANCE MOVES

Have you seen Jason cut a rug?!?! It will make you immediately stop what you're doing and stare. And that's when he really turns it on! The first time I met Jason was at Uropa (Ahhhhh...just typing that word brings back so many great memories)! He was wearing a black sweater, but not on his torso...it was around his head. He was dancing with another guy in the strangest, most awkward way that I can't even describe (I'll save that story for another blog). What can I say? I was instantly hooked.

He gives me HOPE

For those of you who don't know me...I'm what some people call a "pessimist" (GASP!). I can accept it, but I draw the line at Debbie Downer or Negative Nancy. I like to call myself a realist. I always expect the worse in most situations, and if I'm wrong...sweet, what a pleasant surprise! Not Jason. He is extremely optimistic and faces challenges without hesitation because he knows he will succeed. It's his positive confidence that gives me BALANCE. It is simple but very calming. And he gives me the FAITH that no matter what, everything is going to be alright and work out for the best.

But most importantly, he gave me this...

~Caroline Leigh~

We love these two, and are mesmerized by their beautiful wild child Caroline!
Happy Valenties day!
