My Little Cupid is 6 Months Old

It's only fitting that my sweet little lover boy turns 6 months on Valentine's Day. I mean, if you put a pair of wings on him you would have the cutest Cupid this side of the Mason Dixon. Right?

So, if you haven't had the pleasure of meeting this little angel, let me just tell you a few things about him.

>>-----> He loves to snuggle
>>-----> He does not miss a meal
>>-----> He hates sleeping
>>-----> He cries really loud
>>-----> He smiles ALL the time
>>-----> He has more rolls than Luby's
>>-----> He has stars in his eyes when he watches Driscoe
>>-----> He is a momma's boy that looks just like his daddy.

And as for me, I'm in Love.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!

bohoEATS… Oven Roasted Chicken 101

This is such an easy go-to during the week/// just turn that oven up real high!

3 organic chicken breasts with bone and skin on
Organic Olive Oil
salt/pepper
baking sheet lined with parchment paper
*(you could add sliced lemon wheels, rosemary, or just about anything you desire on top of chicken)

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.  Pat dry the chicken breasts with a paper towel.  Then, place chicken onto the baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.  Sprinkle salt and pepper and pop it into the oven!  Bake until skin is golden brown about 30-45 minutes.  (There should not be any pink inside)

Let chicken rest for 10-15 minutes and slice crosswise.  I like to serve it with steamed broccoli, quinoa pasta or make roasted chicken salad.  Keeps in refrigerator for a couple of days.

Enjoy,

My Novella Love Affair

I'm pretty much obsessed with anything and everything Novella Royale.  The entire collection feeds my 70's soul and you cannot have a bad day when you are rocking wildly printed bell bottoms.  I'm thinking the yellow bells will need to be my next purchase, but check out the beautiful site, so much prettiness so much 70's.

How To Get Your Toddler To Listen. It Works!

Have you seen the buzzfeed article comparing toddlers to tiny drunk adults?  It's true, I live with 2 toddler boys, they pee everywhere, are loud and hilarious, messy, emotional, and think farts are the funniest things ever.  Listening is not a strong quality for a toddler boy, they just do not listen.  I am constantly repeating myself, trying to figure out new ways to ask them to do things, and not complicated things.  I'm talking "Dax, please do not stick your finger in Mo's eyeball".  They do not listen.  So I had to share something I learned last week that has actually been working.  My sweet friend and mother of 2, Carla told me about a meeting she had with Dr. Donna Fry, Naturopath, CNHP.  She explained that if you gently touch your child's shoulder or arm when you ask them to do something, they WILL listen.

It works.

I'm serious.  I couldn't believe it the first time.  And I have done it repeatedly to make sure it still works, "Dax touch your nose" he will do it.  "Dax finish the food on your plate" he takes another bite.  "Dax, be nice to Mo" he hands him a toy.  Plus, when I am making the effort to gently touch him, my tone is nicer and more patient.  I am not constantly barking, begging or the worst, nagging.  It really is that simple, so give it a try and let me know if it works for your little drunk!

they are gross
"why it dark in here?"
hiding from the dr
passed out
messy but cute
